May 24 – This is the last qualifying round before the finals!
We’re still accepting applications, so if you’ve been waiting to shine—this is your chance!
May 24 Details:
• 3 winners will be selected to move on to the finals.
• Previous winners from earlier rounds will NOT compete again until the finals.
Finals Night:
July 19 – The best of the best take the stage!
What’s at Stake?
• The Top 3 finalists will qualify to compete in the 2025 Kentucky State Fair Talent Classic!
• 4th and 5th place will be submitted as alternates.
KSF Talent Classic Info:
• Two age categories: 13–21 and 22+
• The Grand Prize Winner (13–21 division) takes home $2,000 cash
• All top placements receive cash prizes, trophies, or the coveted KSF rosettes
NEW in 2025:
Winners will also perform in a professionally produced showcase on a main stage at the State Fair on Saturday, August 23—plus enjoy VIP treatment at the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series that evening!

The City of Leitchfield fireworks will be on Friday, July 19th, beginning at dusk. The fireworks will be shot from the water tower behind the Grayson County Middle School, and is a stand-alone event so grab your friends and enjoy from your favorite spot!

The Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship contest is held annually each 3rd weekend of July. The next contest will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Leitchfield, KY on the courthouse square starting at 9 am CDT in conjunction with the Leitchfield Fiddling Festival. The event will be aired LIVE on Livestream and is free!

Prizes have been increased in all categories – now offering over $12,000 in total prizes! The combined fiddle prizes are the BIGGEST east of the Mississippi!

We have six categories of competition in fiddling, as well as dancing, guitar, mandolin and banjo. All six Fiddle categories are Certified by the National Old Time Fiddlers’ Contest at Weiser, Idaho.

Pre-Festivities will begin on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 6:00 pm with events around the city and Courthouse Square.

On Saturday, the fun will begin early on the Courthouse Square. Several special performances are planned throughout the day. In addition to the competition on the east side of the square, the Leitchfield Freedom Festival events are happen all around the square with vendor booths, crafts, amusement rides and activities for the kids, an antique car/truck/bike/rat rode show.

On Saturday evening after the competition, we will feature a free concert (TBA)! The concert and all events are free! Make plans now to be in Leitchfield on Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19, 2025!

Black Rock Mafia has a monthly cruise in on the 4th Saturday of every month starting in April and runs through October from 5-8 p.m. at Bailey’s Zip Mart
