Twin Lakes National Fiddler Contest

The Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship contest is held annually each 3rd weekend of July.  The next contest will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Leitchfield, KY on the courthouse square starting at 9 am CDT in conjunction with the Leitchfield Fiddling Festival.  The event will be aired LIVE on Livestream and is free!

Prizes have been increased in all categories – now offering over $12,000 in total prizes! The combined fiddle prizes are the BIGGEST east of the Mississippi!

We have six categories of competition in fiddling, as well as dancing, guitar, mandolin and banjo.  All six Fiddle categories are Certified by the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest at Weiser, Idaho.

Pre-Festivities will begin on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 6:00 pm with events around the city and Courthouse Square.

On Saturday, the fun will begin early on the Courthouse Square.  Several special performances are planned throughout the day. In addition to the competition on the east side of the square, the Leitchfield Freedom Festival events are happen all around the square with vendor booths, crafts, amusement rides and activities for the kids, an antique car/truck/bike/rat rode show.

On Saturday evening after the competition, we will feature a free concert (TBA)! The concert and all events are free! Make plans now to be in Leitchfield on Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20, 2024!!

Pancake Breakfast

Start your Fiddling day with a fundraiser pancake breakfast at the fire station on South Main Street. 6-10 am (cdt)

Black Rock Mafia Cruise In

Black Rock Mafia Cruise in will be held at Bailey’s Zip Mart in Millwood the fourth Saturday of every month through October.
